Stipula is bewitching its fans with three new Model T: Ambrosia, Sahara and Nuda. Names which hit the nail of the head and make us dream of Gods, Tuareg and voluptuous transparencies. Precious materials (celluloid and resin) and the famous T-Flex nib combined for a high level range of the classical Model T shape.
What the new Model T have in common with the well-known Stipula bestseller? Just the name and the shape. All the rest – materials, colors and production – are brand new, and exciting. I had the chance to touch and see them in flesh, and here below you can read my feelings.
If you’d like to see how them should look in your hands, visit the website page and watch the videoclip we prepared.
Stipula also launched the new Speedball: a kind of roller which writes with ink, instead of refills, like the Visconti’s rollergraphic.
In the Model T case, however, you can use not only cartridges, but also the whole reservoir, like you do in the fountain pen. In fact, an eyedropper is included in the pen’s package.
AMBROSIA
Ambrosia, like the food of Greek gods; and it’s also very similar to pronounce to amber, the precious stone with surprising inclusions. Try to imagine a semi-transparent celluloid barrel and cap of the color of amber with gold thin plates swimming around. This is Model T AMBROSIA! This very Limited Edition – 193 FP + 193 Speedball – is dressed with matt gold-plated metal trims and clip. The clip is finished with a round red cornelian gem. The cap is enriched with a metal ring on which is fixed the Stipula leaf. The nib is the famous T-Flex with matt gold finish. For both FP and SPEEDBALL are available three filling systems: converter, eyedropper and cartridges.
NUDA
Model T NUDA is a Limited Edition as well – 351 FP + 351 Speedball – made of transparent resin. The transparent body is coupled with the same matt gold-plated metal trims and clip as Ambrosia, but the gem set on the clip is mother-pearl. The body is transparent, but glossy. The clip is finished with a double thing ring and the Stipula leaf is fixed directly on the transparent resin, between the two small rings. A wise game of transparencies.
Its nib is the famous T-Flex, with matt gold finish. For both FP and SPEEDBALL are available three filling systems: converter, eyedropper and cartridge
SAHARA
Let we move to the sandy hills of desert with the last new LE presented by Stipula: Model T SAHARA. Try to imagine a desert storm. The wind is pushing sand and small rocks around. Everything is whirling around you. This is my first impression looking at the SAHARA. The metal trims of this pen are of gloss palladium. The Stipula leaf is waving moved by the desert storm. A mother-pearl gem adorns the clip.
The S features the classic titanium T-Flex nib, matt finish. For both FP (351 pieces) and SPEEDBALL (351 pieces) are available three filling systems: converter, eyedropper and cartridge
